Job description

Seeking a Registered Nurse to assist with the administration of COVID-19 Vaccinations and Boosters in the South Bay. This position is PRN, with 1 to 7 days of advanced notice. The current schedule is every Friday and Saturday; 8am-5pm. Please note that the actual start/end time may vary slightly.

If you are experienced in vaccine administration, have a flexible schedule and would like to receive ad hoc hours working special vaccination and/or testing events, then this is a great opportunity for you!

Job Scope:

• Administering COVID vaccinations to patients

• Oversee the entire patient experience, from check-in to check out

• Gathering and reporting vital patient information, as needed
• May assist with vaccination event logistics as directed

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of California where the position is located
• One year minimum related work experience
• Experience with documentation of care, medication administration, infection control precautions, assessing patient educational needs, physical assessment, obtaining vital signs, performing point of care testing, and care coordination

Scheduling:

• Schedules may vary, depending on the vaccination event and/or client.
• Assignments are typically offered with one or two-week notice.
• Short-notice shifts may also be available.

Other Considerations:

• Must have the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Flexibility to work both indoors and outdoors (cover is provided outdoors)
• Must provide proof of COVID vaccination

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
