Registered Nurse (RN) Temporary Contract (No weekends) Job at Arc of San Diego
We are currently hiring a Registered Nurse. You will provide care to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their own home. The Arc of San Diego operates ten (10) ICF-DD-H residential facilities across San Diego County. The hours for this role are Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
Who you are:
- A registered nurse comfortable providing full care coordination and review
- A strong advocate with active observation skills for the rights and best interests of adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities
A typical day will include:
- Developing individual health care plans; providing case management support and oversight for clients including:
- Pharmacy and medication review
- Physical and nutrition assessments
- Psychiatrist and mental health review
- Scheduling and attending coordinated client service planning meetings
What you’ll need to be successful:
- CA license as Registered Nurse
- 6 months hands on experience working with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Valid CA Driver’s License with clean driving record
We’d love it if you:
- Have experience using electronic case management systems (Therap)
- Previously provided in-home care in individual or group settings

Pay: $35.00 per hour
