Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYN, PT, Anoka & Elk River Clinics
Riverway Clinics are located in the north metro suburbs offering a small-town atmosphere within a short drive north of the Twin Cities and are part of the HealthPartners family of care.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work part time in the OB/GYN departments at our Anoka and Elk River Clinic locations. The RN will support patient care by providing leadership, direction, organization and administration of daily clinic operations in the patient care area. This position works in collaboration with the Specialty Nurse Manager. Teamwork is the norm and all employees will be held accountable to work as effective team members. Service excellence is to be centered on patient care and patient relationships and is the responsibility of all employees. (11/11/2022)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
Current RN licensure in the state of Minnesota.
Current RN licensure in Wisconsin or within two months of hire.
Current ACLS certification or within 6 months of hire and maintain.
At least one year of recent acute care experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of broad-based experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Experience with an electronic medical record.
- Telephone consultation experience.

- Is responsible for treating and caring for patients. Records patient symptoms, conditions and administers medications.
- Monitors patient progress and identifies any changes in status, acting on those changes to insure patient comfort and safety.
- Delegates nursing tasks when appropriate.
- Creates and implements dynamic teaching plans based upon patient need.
- Acts as a resource for other staff.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods at a time. This position may require standing for up to 8 hours a day. Must possess speech, hearing and sight skills to perform the functions of the position. Manual dexterity required. Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently. Proficiency in other languages may be beneficial. Some positions may have lifting requirements. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
