Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Job at Stephens County Hospital
Stephens County Hospital is in search of Registered Nurses to join their team! Our hospital is a community hospital in the foot hills of the Appalachian Mountains. Located 1.5 hours to the East of metro Atlanta area an 1 hour northof Athens, GA home to the Georgia Bulldogs National Champion football team. Close to South Carolina and North Carolina. Lots of specialty shops, antique shops, restaurants. Currahee Mountain vineyards close by. Home to Toccoa Falls and Toccoa Falls College. Hospital is centrally located, not far from Lake Hartwell. Hospital has long-tenured staff and a ‘family feel’.
Location: 163 Hospital Dr. Toccoa, GA 30577
Shift: 6:45p-7:15a (36 hours/week)
Shift Differential: $4.00-$5.00/hour
Responsibilities:
Must Haves: Care and management of a set of medical/surgical patients to include assessments, reassessments, medication administration, ADL’s, prescribed treatments, chest tube management, IV starts, telemetry monitoring, dressing changes, oxygen administration – all the standard things done a typical med/surg unit.
- Georgia RN license (or compact license)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- 1-year RN experience
- Associates degree
