This position will work hand-in-hand with our Chief Human Resources Officer with all things related to our people - past, present and future! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A Recruiter/ HR Generalist

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the HR field.
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of law firm policies and procedures.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience using UKG (Kronos) Workforce Ready HR System or similar systems, preferred.

As a Recruiter, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifying and implementing efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Screening applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Scheduling interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assisting with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with department managers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in relations to recruiting.

As an HR Generalist, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits adds/terms/changes and monthly reconciliations and maintaining and updating employee records, including processional licensure.
  • Working within our HR System (UKG Workforce Ready) on a daily basis.
  • Handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by CHRO; assisting CHRO in daily tasks and activities.
