SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Planners are responsible for planning orders for production and providing key information to line supervisors and sales teams in order to get orders processed effectively and efficiently meeting deadlines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for planning orders of all Accounts/Business Units of Delta US.
· Process all aspects of planning an order including but not limited to requesting substitutions, advising of shortages, verifying label codes, requesting stock be pulled from inventory, printing pick tickets, etc.
· Ensure orders are planned in a timely manner in an effort to provide adequate time for order processing and shipping.
· Communicate effectively with all departments and teams including Sales, Client Services, Order Processing, Shipping, etc.
· Proactively monitor orders from planning through order processing and shipping stages to prevent and/or address any concerns that may occur.
· Monitor ETA of goods into the Distribution Center from the manufacturers to allow for planning process to begin.
· Maintain a working knowledge of BU account manuals to adhere to specific account guidelines avoiding any and all chargebacks to the company.
· All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
· High school diploma/GED required.
· Excellent communication skills required
· Experience in the garment industry preferred
· Must be computer literate and strong with use of applications such as Microsoft Office, etc.
