Production Manager

Position Summary

The Production Manager will provide leadership, supervision, expertise, and support to ensure the operation meets customer expectations, as well as other key performance metrics. He/she will support the development and implementation of initiatives to improve safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity while driving down cost within the operation.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to assigned departments to achieve all goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
• Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the production in assigned departments
• Develop methods and procedures to ensure manufacturing satisfies customer demand
• Ensure workforce resources are adequate to meet the organization’s production schedule
• Evaluate production and determine ways to improve efficiency while ensuring the achievement of quality standards
• Define and drive standardized work throughout manufacturing
• Assist in implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives

Qualification Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field
• Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of textile manufacturing experience.
• Five (5) years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and productivity projects
• Ability to articulate a vision and manufacturing strategy
