Assembler - 1st Shift

• Full-time 40 hours per week - overtime required and as needed.
• No Sundays.
• First increase at 90 days! Performance reviews every 6 months.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Positions parts according to the work order, prints and knowledge of the unit being assembled.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets or other fasteners.
• Operates hand drills, tool and rivet machines to assist in assembly operations.
• Records all labor and downtime, documenting all information pertaining to each work order and routing.
• Helps maintain all company safety regulations to provide a clean, accident free and healthy work environment.
• Assures that the fit, function and cosmetics are at, or exceeds Company quality expectations.
• Confers with the team or crew leaders on any problems regarding safety, quality, production or inventory issues.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

• Must possess basic math skills and be able to read a tape measure.

REASONSING ABILITY:

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with the variety of situations which occur in the daily assembly process.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Agility of the upper and lower body extremities, and capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly.
