Job Description
- This individual will be responsible for yield improvement for a new generation of GaN power semiconductor devices.
- Startup environment requires this individual to be self-motivated and hardworking.
- Analyze wafer-level and product-level electrical test data to report yield.
- Communicate yield analyses to various teams and management.
- Improve yield by working with process, epi and test teams to identify root causes and implementing fixes.
- Work with process engineering to define process windows and identify process corners.
- Drive activities in transistor performance and reliability improvement.
- Minimum B.S. in EE, Physics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar job function in semiconductor power devices and circuits.
- Proactive approach to problem identification and solving.
- Good understanding of semiconductor processing, integration, device physics, failure analysis techniques and reliability improvement.
- Experience with Design of Experiments (DOEs), statistics for manufacturing engineering and structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, 5 whys).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a team player.
- M.S./Ph.D. is desired.
- GaN technology experience is not required but preferred.
