Physician Scheduling Specialist-Hybrid

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains physician schedules utilizing vendor software, QGenda, and integration with Advanced Radiology's internally developed software.
• Compiles information which is published to physician's QGenda website and app.
• Understands QGenda software and interacts with their software engineers to stay current with latest version of scheduling software. Be facile with computers and Excel, assuring all schedules are appropriately managed for proper physician staffing at all times.
• Accesses special staffing requests/needs while negotiating with available physicians for redistribution to various locations as appropriate.
• Communicates and distribute sscheduling activity in a timely manner.
• Verifies that the physician database is accurate and current with correct registered procedures, location privileges, availability, etc.
• Uses internal processes to compile physician vacation requests in determination of annual vacation schedule, continuing to maintain changes throughout the remainder of the year.
• Assists in ensuring balanced accounting among physicians for work schedules, vacation and days off.
• Keeps abreast of current system developments and looks for ways of improving current practices.

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience

• Must have one of the following: a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of PC software such as Microsoft Office's Word, PowerPoint, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Possesses and utilizes excellent customer service skills, strong public relations skills, and exceptional written and verbal communications skills.

Strongly Preferred Requirements:

Detailed orientated / ability to multi-task/ handle external and internal customers / understands RIS and helpful to have radiologist workflow.

Pay Range:

$24.00 - $30.15 / hour
