Sunflower Medical Group is a physician-owned private practice with four locations and 32 physicians in the Kansas City metropolitan area. We are seeking a full-time Family Practice physician at our Kansas City, KS office location doing solely outpatient medicine & urgent care. We have been rapidly growing and are looking for additional entrepreneurial physicians to join our team.

We have been an NCQA recognized Patient Centered Medical Home since 2013. We are proud to have been selected to participate in the CPC+ pilot program with CMS since 2017 and are now transitioning into the Primary Care First program. We employ a Clinical Quality Manager, a team of Care Managers, a Dietitian/Certified Diabetic Educator, Psychologists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers which allow us to have a strong focus on behavioral health as well as overall population health for our patients. Our ancillary services include on-site lab, x-ray, EKG, and ultrasound.

The KCK clinic location currently has 5 family practice physicians, 5 pediatricians and 1 internist. The new physician would see patients in the clinic on an outpatient basis as well as cover shifts in our urgent care as needed. There would be no inpatient rounding. Competitive starting salary, 3 weeks vacation, 1 week CME time, full benefits package and malpractice covered by the group. Partnership opportunities after 2 years of employment with 1 year on a production model. Building ownership opportunities are available as well.

Job Requirements:

• M.D. or D.O.
• Completion of an accredited residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Excellent communication skills and a delivery style that is welcoming and open with patients.
• Leadership skills and a "team player" attitude
