Our adult Family Practice, located in Gainesville Florida, is seeking a full-time board-certified Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician. The position is for outpatient services only, without call, weekend hours or inpatient duties. A hospitalist group does our patient admissions.

We offer a competitive salary with benefits. The new physician will be responsible for all patient care including the supervision of two excellent mid-level practitioners currently working at the practice. Each provider has a medical assistant assigned to them, who room patients and assist with care coordination.

Gainesville is a small university town with a metropolitan feel. It’s an excellent place to raise children with beautiful neighborhoods, good schools, and many family activities. Orlando and North Central coastal towns are easily accessible.

Physician Qualifications and Skills:

• Working knowledge of common diseases and disorders.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate difficult conversations professionally.
• Patience, exceptional bedside manner, and the ability to empathize with the patient.
• Ongoing professional development and conference participation.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited allopathic or osteopathic program required
• Valid Florida state medical license
• Proof of successful completion of a family practice or internal medicine residency training program
• Track record of adhering to healthcare ethical code of conduct
• Experience with a wide range of medical conditions
• Strong triage and multitasking skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $205,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
