Active Medical Center is looking for a licensed Physician Assistant to join our growing team of medical professionals. Your duties will include recording patients' medical histories, performing physical exams, administering diagnostic tests, and creating patient care plans. You will also administer treatment and observe patients' functioning over time. Our Physician Assistant will be a leader at our clinic and have significant responsibility and oversight of clinical operations. This position will be under indirect supervision by an M.D.

The ideal Physician Assistant will be empathic, resolute in your decision-making, and attentive to detail. This individual will also have experience leading teams of professionals and working in a team setting.

This job will require a minimum of 40 hours per week at our West Dundee, IL clinic.

Competency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Performing physical exams and patient observations.
• Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.
• Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
• Ordering, administering and analyzing diagnostic tests.
• Monitoring and operating medical equipment.
• Diagnosing health issues.
• Performing trigger point, PRP, hyaluronic acid, and human cell tissue product injections.
• Detecting patient health changes and modifying treatment plans as needed.
• Consulting with healthcare professionals and families.
• Adhere to requirements set forth by supervising M.D.
• Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.

Physician Assistant:

• Graduate Degree from an accredited PA school.
• Current Licensure as a Physician Assistant PA in the state of Illinois.
• Certification by the National Certification Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Prescriptive authority and controlled substance license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
