Pet Groomer Job at Doggie Styles Grooming
Doggie Styles is a 21 yr old pet grooming business located in the White Hills area of Shelton. We are in need of a part time groomer three days a week. We have a loyal clientele, a fun working environment and a great team of groomers and bathers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Meet w/clients during drop off to insure grooming integrity
- Determine appropriate tools to be used for desired style.
- Clip/comb pet hair according to standards and required style
- Use proper safe handling techniques to keep pet calm and safely under control at all times
- Clean grooming station and crate area
Education and/or Experience
One to three years related experience grooming up to 6 dogs day.(MUST BE GROOMING EXPERIENCE in a pet grooming business)
Other Skills and Abilities
- Patience and safe dog handling required at all times
- Excellent customer service skills in understanding and interrupting customer requests
- Ability to work as a team and contribute to a fun working environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
