Job Overview
We are currently seeking a self-driven, certified personal trainer wanting to advance with a company that puts strong emphasis on the human connection to movement. The position would start off part-time with the potential to turn into full-time employment as business at Your Daily Move continues to grow.
New Hire Requirements
-Personal training certification from an accredited association (up to date)
-3+ years one-on-one and/or one-on-two personal training experience
-CPR and First Aid certification (up to date)
-Personal training insurance (as required for independent contractors)
Additional Preferences
-Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology
-Some understanding of corrective exercise or willingness to learn
-Specialized fitness training certifications
-Self-driven and passionate about improving people’s lives through fitness and movement
-Experience with or willingness to learn virtual class training
Our Story
In addition to the 1-on-1 and 1-on-2 personal training in our spacious , virtual class training has become an integral part of our fitness approach, providing those at home with training options.
We are a small, 1500 sq. ft. boutique fitness training studio located in the Chicago Uptown/Ravenswood neighborhood dedicated to corrective exercise, pre/post rehabilitation, intricate detail to form/proper body mechanics, and general fitness. Currently, there are no more than six people (including two personal trainers) in training sessions within the studio at any given time, which allows for plenty of room to train in a safe and welcoming environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 per hour
