Quick Rx Pharmacy is looking to hire Per Diem Pharmacists for our locations. We are working as part of a coordinated care team partnered with community-based health centers and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients with complex health conditions get the medications they need in a timely fashion and can follow their treatment plans.

We are seeking a per diem Pharmacist to support and manage all functions of daily pharmacy operations.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Review and execute physician’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality
• Verify preparation/labeling and Quality Assurance of medications dispensed
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and healthcare professionals
• Help maintain a clean & organized work environment
• Take and enter prescription orders into the pharmacy software system
• Ensure an effective and efficient workflow throughout the pharmacy
• Patient Counseling
• Comprehensive Drug Utilization Review and Monitoring for Specialty Drugs and the Advanced Disease States
• Complies with ALL state and federal aws
• Other duties as assigned by the management team

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years experience as a Retail Pharmacist
• Minimum 1+ years of Micro-Merchant experience
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
• Must have an active pharmacy license in the state of New York
• Not on the DEA, OIG, GSA Excluded Parties List
• No prior or pending felony charges/convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Micro Merchant: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Licensed Pharmacist (Preferred)
