Position Overview
Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP seeks a patent agent with at least 2 years’ experience to join our patent prosecution team in either our New Haven or Stamford office. The ideal candidate will have a background in chemistry, chemical engineering or material science, and will have experience with all stages of patent prosecution, including drafting original applications, responding to official actions, and appeals. Candidates should be licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, be self-motivated to produce a high-quality work product independently, and possess strong communication and client service skills. Experience with international filings and working with agents outside the U.S. is a plus.
