Outside Sales Account Manager Job at Happy City Distribution
Happy City Distribution is a fast growing, full service food distribution company. We deal with quality food brands with a special emphasis on helping local brands succeed in the market. Our list of customers includes specialty and independent grocery stores as well as established chains such as Super 1, Rouses, and HEB!
We are looking for an Outside Sales Account Manager to join our team and manage and grow an existing territory where we already have several customers.
Outside Sales Account Managers work closely with a Service Provider that delivers and merchandizes the stores, so having the ability to work in a team is essential.
As mentioned above, this position is responsible for managing/growing an existing group of accounts in a geographical area and also responsible for adding new accounts. Duties include the following:
- Generating Orders
- Managing Product Placement and Tagging
- Upselling New Products
- Cultivating New and Existing Relationships with Accounts
- Representing Happy City's company culture well to our Accounts
This position pays a base rate, vehicle/gas stipend, and a commission rate based on orders. Previous sales experience is preferred, but not necessary. Strong communication/social skills are required.
