Totall Metal Recycling specializes in the recycling of metals and electronic waste and precious metals recovery. We have a large facility and a sizable fleet of mobile and heavy equipment. We are looking for an experienced service technician to inspect, service, and maintain our forklifts and skid steer equipment.

Job Responsibilities

· Conduct maintenance inspections of all mobile and heavy equipment

· Perform regular maintenance services on the equipment, including oil changes, fluid level checks and top offs, filter changes, oil and spark plug changes, wire changes, and tire changes

· Complete service reports electronically in our Equipment Asset Management (EAM) system

· Work in a team environment to accomplish uptime goals and budget targets

Job Requirements

· This position requires the normal use of fingers, hands, arms, feet, and legs. You must have the ability to work in confined spaces as well as having the ability to stoop, crawl, lay on your back, and reach above your head and work from those positions. You must also have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry this weight up to 50 feet. This position also requires periods of physical exertion and exposure to outside weather conditions

· Mechanical ability and experience with automotive equipment

· Knowledge of fork lift and steer equipment is preferred

· You must provide your own basic hand tools

· Ability to effectively communicate to teammates and shift leader

· Working knowledge of OSHA safety and hazard cautions

· Basic reading and math skills

· Valid drivers license and proof of insurance
