Preventative Maintenance Tech duties include:

Conducting preventative maintenance duties on heavy duty vehicles including greasing, filter and oil changes, tire maintenance, brake work, hydraulic work, and other basic mechanic duties, OFFERS ON THE SPOT for qualified candidates.

Qualifications:

• Mechanics are expected to have their own hand tools suitable for performing the required work.
• Employer does provide specialty tools and powered equipment.
• 1-3 years previous experience working on heavy duty trucks.
• Possess basic automotive maintenance skills
• Previous experience with hydraulic or air brake systems.
• Experience working with waste/refuse vehicles a plus.
• Experience with natural gas vehicles a plus.
• EXPERIENCE IN AIR CONDITIONING REPAIR a plus.
• ASE or other mechanic certifications a plus.
• Valid class C Texas driver’s license in good standing a plus.
• Applicants are required to pass a physical examination and drug test.
