We are looking for Multifamily Acquisition Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing land for apartment community development to expand HHHunt's portfolio in the Charlotte, NC market. You will develop relationships with land sellers and developers to ensure the pipeline meets corporate business plans and you will lead negotiations with land sellers to ensure the best possible terms for land purchases.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Oversee and coordinate land acquisition responsibilities assisting team with all financial, regulatory and contractual obligations of the purchase.
  • Develop and maintain relevant and productive relationships with developers and landowners in the metropolitan area, staying abreast of market conditions in various submarkets where HHHunt is actively pursuing acquisition opportunities.
  • Negotiate the acquisition of properties with landowners, developers and brokers with the assistance of Feasibility team.
  • Collaborate with Feasibility team on preliminary due diligence for land acquisition opportunities, including but not limited to working with engineers, architects and internal land team
  • Coordinate and assist with feasibility studies and underwriting land acquisition packages with the feasibility team
  • Work with Entitlement team with coordinating resources and meeting all entitlement needs for land acquisition
  • Preparing and presenting Investment Committee Memos for proposed investments to HHHunt's Investment Committee
  • Responsible for departmental overhead budget and controlling the budget

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience in multifamily acquisitions or as an analyst with experience underwriting acquisitions for an active purchaser/developer of multifamily properties.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state Driver's License
