Job Summary/Purpose: The Director, Supply Chain ERP is an enterprise wide information systems leadership role that reports to the Chief Supply Chain Officer. Under limited supervision, the Director, Supply Chain ERP is responsible for the overall implementation, development and sustainment of multiple, complex SCM information systems, applications and interfaces. This position leads all teams engaged in the primary MUSC ERP system Workday, point of use systems, warehouse management systems, chain of custody systems and decisions support systems. This position directs all merger and acquisition activities related to SCM computer system integration and standardization. This position directly supports all patient charging activities and systems related to SCM and Epic interfaces. Responsible for SCM systems budgeting and systems related contract negotiations. In addition, this position is the subject matter expert for developing meaningful data driven reporting and communication for all Supply Chain manager levels, and MUSC management needing or desiring key supply chain metrics and information.
Minimum Training and Education: Master’s Degree in business administration, health care administration, a related or IT technical field is required with a minimum of eight years of progressive responsibility in a healthcare setting. Two to four years’ experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) Support Systems such as WorkDay, Pyxis, GHX and TecSys. Advanced knowledge of SCM ERP implementation and ERP sustainment. Extensive knowledge of and exposure to healthcare SCM principle delivery systems including but not limited to purchasing, receiving, inventory control management, distribution, accounting, and analytics is required. Customer service focus, strong analytical skills, experience in quality assurance activities, and demonstrated personnel management ability is essential. Ability to perform on both a strategic and tactical level is critical.
