The Motion Graphics Artist opening is a full-time, non-remote position in Akron, OH. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00a. to 5:00p.

TCT Network is seeking a talented and experienced Motion Graphics Artist that will play a vital role in visually communicating our broadcast ministry’s mission and values. This full-time position is located in Akron, Ohio. As a Motion Graphics Artist for TCT Network, you’ll be creating animations for all touchpoints of the ministry including television broadcasts, digital media projects, and more. Needed is a creative who can bring a professional touch to their projects and is great at collaborating with other members of the team throughout the creative process. Candidates must possess strong design skills and thrive in a deadline-driven environment. This is not an entry-level position. Only those with tangible design experience will be considered at this time. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in digital design, visual arts, gaming designer using Unreal Engine or related field preferred. Will consider commensurate experience.
• Non-linear editing experience on Adobe
• Utilize software skills to produce graphics/motion using After Effects, Element 3D, Illustrator, Cinema 4D, Epic Games Unreal Engine & Photoshop.

• Highly detail-oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel.

• Professional manner and attire.

SKILLS:

• Detailed experience and knowledge of editing and animation software to produce fast-paced, high-energy animation elements.
• Ability to use and knowledge of Adobe CC line of products (Highly skilled: PSD, AI, AE)
• Ability to use and knowledge of 3D programs (C4D, Blender, etc.)
• Ability to prep graphics and set pieces for VR sets using Unreal Engine
• Ability to produce still graphics both for and from animation.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other departments.

• Ability to be comfortable receiving feedback, offering solutions, and adjusting to various workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for utilizing various software to produce professional and on-trend projects.
• Responsible for all aspects of projects from story-boarding to completion.
• Responsible for contribution and generation of ideas.

• Responsible for juggling multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring production deadlines are met.
• Responsible for creating streamlined, organized files with anticipation of the production pipeline, potential technological constraints, and a tight localization schedule.
• Responsible for reviewing final projects with an exacting eye ensuring all work meets the Network’s quality standards.

• Responsible for reporting the status of projects, at all stages, to the supervisor.
• Responsible for remaining current on trends and new techniques in animation and thinking outside the box to apply those new techniques to TCT projects.
• Responsible for filling in on studio productions and field shoots as needed.
• Responsible for all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
