Job Description: Metal Fabricator/Welder
Fabspeed is seeking production staff to join our expert team! We design and manufacture performance exhaust systems & upgrades, and are looking for people to prepare parts & components for our fabrication team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare parts for the fabrication team
- Post fabrication machining operations - Drill O2 bungs and EGT sensors
- Pre-polishing prepped parts (where polishing cannot be done after parts have been welded together)
- Maintain equipment at the workbench, along with maintaining a clean and clutter-free work area.
- Accomplish work in a timely manner and consistent with our quality standards.
- Support Short and Long-Term Goals
- Maintain 5S System Company-wide
Primary Objectives
- Maintain a safety-conscious environment and use all provided PPE
- Trained and proficient in all shop equipment relevant to the task as a preparation employee. This includes chop saws, belt sanders, plasma cutters, air tools, end forming machines, hand drills, drill press, polishing equipment, hand tools, Bridgeport milling machine, basic hand tools, and all measuring equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
