Donald L. Mooney Enterprises, LLC dba NURSES Etc STAFFING is sourcing qualified Medical Technologists/Clinical Laboratory Scientists (MT/CLS) at the Olin E Teague Hospital (VA hospital in Temple,TX).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree
- Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of laboratory experience
Expectations:
- Demonstrate medical expertise, communication, organization, and time management skills
Core Duties:
- Will perform a broad range of laboratory procedures, including advanced and complex laboratory procedures.
- Evaluate and solve problems related to collection and processing of biological specimens for analysis accounting for physiologic processes and requirements.
- Maintain and document the optimal functioning of laboratory equipment.
- 40 hours a week (may include rotating weekends and holidays) with flexible 8, 10, or 12 hour tours
- Resume/CV
- Copy of ASCP/AMT or current ASCP(CM)/AMT(CM) certificate
- Copy of college degree or college transcripts
- Statement of availability
- References - at least 3
