Phoenix Paper Wickliffe LLC is searching for qualified candidates to assume the role of Mechanical Reliability Engineer.

The Mechanical Reliability Engineer will be responsible for providing FM (Factory Mutual) Program,

NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Program, Tank and Vessel Integrity Program, Relief Valve Program, Lifting Beam and Mono-rail Integrity Program, Boiler and Turbine Inspections and Pressure Piping Program. Lead and/or participate in RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) investigations. Create or modify PPM’s.

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Reliability Engineer position include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Oversee, administer and be the primary contact for the following Compliance Programs:

o FM Global

o NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)

o Tank & Vessel Integrity

o Safety Relief Valves

o Lifting Beam & Mono-Rail Integrity

o Boiler & Turbine Inspections

o Pressure Piping Program

• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of industrial equipment and components such as pumps, motors, bearings, refrigeration systems, compressors, piping systems, etc. used in paper manufacturing
• Strong computer skills including SAP and Microsoft applications
• Candidate must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills, as well as initiative and the ability to delegate decision making and other responsibilities. Ability to handle multiple time sensitive projects and issues.
• Candidate must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management.
• Candidate must model Phoenix Paper’s values and achieve results through safe work practices, cross-functional participation, manufacturing excellence, integrity, and respect for others.
• Provides expertise to hourly lubrication and vibration technicians, when required

Education and/or Experience:

· B.S. Mechanical Engineering. Qualified non-degreed candidates will be considered.

· 5 - 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, Papermill experience preferred

· Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
