Romac Industries, an innovator of pipe products for the waterworks industry, is seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team to specifically spearhead CapEx projects with a focus on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record in mechanical design with particular emphasis on tooling for forming/assembly and workholding with welding/machining. The ideal candidate is experienced with designing weldments, machined tooling and formed metal components. You have a strong business acumen, possess the ability to drive projects cross-departmentally and are skilled in the art of sourcing, cost benefit analysis, negotiation, and procurement. You are also a natural mentor who desires to grow into a leadership role.

Must have precise and impeccable cross-functional communication skills, can effectively collaborate with all levels within the organization including Engineering, Planning, QA, Project Management, Purchasing, the Production Departments and the Romac Leadership Team. Prefer manufacturing industry experience.
