The marketing department determines and implements the strategy for the website, social media, PR, paid media, activations and events, and digital marketing for the hotel. Key work for the department includes mapping our current channels to the customers we want to reach.The department is also responsible for creating all aspects of the brand - the brand voice, aesthetic, and measuring performance and resonance of the brand with the target market. This will include specific experiments with ads, rates, offers and other campaigns that help us test our fit in the market.
The marketing coordinator will assisting in managing the deliverables and vendors the hotel engages with across all of these channels. They will help organize and determine KPIs and targets and measure the success of specific marketing campaigns - this may include dashboarding and data analysis.
The coordiantor will assist in drafting press releases for specific events and manage notifying our vendors so that news is promoted through all available channels.
For the website, the coordinator will ensure brand voice is consistent and that the website is up to date with events, restaurant activations, and other content. The marketing coordinator will also assist SEO/SEM performance for the website (via audits on specific cadences) as well as guide the website strategy.
For social media, the marketing coordinator will monitor posts, help to create and give feedback on assets, manage content calendar and help manage vendors where appropriate. The coordinator will help select vendors in this space if needed.
For digital marketing, the coordinator will help create assets and brainstorm campaign ideas, and measure their effectiveness, guiding any changes needed (alongside the respective vendor).
For paid media, the coordinator will help deploy ads on social media and identify opportunities for ad placement (based on performance data from prior ads). This includes creating ads and brainstorming the right budget and audience for those ads.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
