Market Research Manager (Quantitative and Qualitative)
1 year contract – Flexible hours can range from 20-40 hours per week
North Chicago location or FULLY REMOTE!
**Industry Experience: MUST HAVE PHARMA EXPERIENCE AND MARKET RESEARCH (Quantitative and Qualitative) EXPERIENCE!
Our pharma client has an increased workload and is looking to add a Market Research Manager to the team. This team supports 3 key areas: Oncology, Immunology and Specialty (Neuroscience & Eyecare) and will be a combination of meetings and working independently!
Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Insight Leadership
- Provide impactful insights that shape brand and business strategy by incorporating data from all pertinent sources.
- Work with supplies on appropriate methodologies
- Oversee the creation of meaningful learning plans for larger, more strategic projects.
- Develop business understanding including financial, positioning, market programs customers and distribution.
- Voice of Customer client consultant to provide insight (not just a report).
- Business Unit Strategic Partnership.
- Participate and contribute to unit leadership needs.
- Work on strategy development and presentation
- Develop strong team-based relationships with internal partners.
- Work with teams to identify key business questions
- Champions new approaches to marketing research and identifies new technologies and more advanced research methods.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree required. MBA or MA preferred. Degree concentration in marketing research or marketing is a strong plus.
- PHARMA EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!
- Therapeutic area experience in one of the 3 areas - Oncology, Immunology and Specialty (Neuroscience & Eyecare)
- 10+ years relevant marketing research experience, with at least 6 years client-side marketing research experience. Previous experience in a consultative role a plus.
- Excellent strategic thinking capabilities and equally excellent tactical execution skills
- Analytical reasoning abilities, intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen, and creativity in problem solving.
- Ability to interact effectively with/present to (verbally and in writing) all levels of the organization, from Product Managers to Senior Executives.
- Expert knowledge of custom research methodologies.
- Proven experience as a high performer and thought leader
