JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

You should have:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 3+ years of experience in Laboratory as Medical Technologist required
• 1+ year of experience in leadership role.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License with a qualification in one or more of the 5 following areas: Microbiology, Serology, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, or Immunohematology Required
• Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License with qualifications in all of the 6 following areas: Microbiology, Serology, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Immunohematology, Molecular Pathology Preferred

In addition to receiving an A Rating in Patient Safety from the Leapfrog Group since Fall of 2015, HCA Florida West Hospital is also the area's first Accredited Chest Pain Center and Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. HCA Florida West Hospital is also the first hospital in the state of Florida to have earned Atrial Fibrillation with Electrophysiology Services Accreditation. In addition, HCA Florida West Hospital is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and offers specialized Emergency Department services tailored specifically to the needs of seniors as well as a Kids' ER dedicated to serving the emergency medical needs of children. The HCA Florida West Hospital campus includes the acute care hospital, the area's only comprehensive, CARF-accredited physical rehabilitation hospital, and a behavioral health facility.
