We are seeking a hands-on dynamic individual to join our team at Hampton Inn, Raynham, MA. as Maintenance Technician PM.

Primary function of the Maintenance Technician is to complete routine, preventative and emergency maintenance in the hotel as directed by the Chief Engineer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with guests, vendors, co-workers and management.

· Ensure guest satisfaction through a properly maintained property, guestrooms and by responding promptly and efficiently to all guest complaints and needs.

· Always maintain a guest focus while striving to meet and exceed GSS goals.

· Maintain and repair all manageable mechanical operations and equipment including, but not limited to:

o Small plumbing problems

o Windows, doors, locks and keys

o Drywall, wall papering, painting, caulking

o Equipment maintenance

o Furniture and upholstery repair

o Swimming pool and spa operation and upkeep

· Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel, including deep cleaning of assigned areas.

· Setting up and maintaining the complimentary hotel lobby functions including coffee service and nightly concierge events.

· Cleaning and setting up meeting function rooms.

· Delivering service items to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.

· Driving the hotel shuttle van when needed.

· Possess a good mechanical knowledge of how to safely operate and maintain all tools.

· Respond to and complete all work orders in a timely manner

· Complete and track guest room and equipment preventive maintenance as outlined by Quality Assurance requirements.

Requirements:

· One-year experience

· Hotel experience a plus

· Able to lift and carry up 50 lbs.

· Able to bend and stoop

· Able to climb ladders

· Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

· Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
