Pretzels, Inc is a new and advancing bakery in Lawrence, KS. We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to help us grow into the future with The Hershey Company. Salary based on experience, Starting at $90,000

Purpose:
Achieve world class facility and equipment reliability through a robust PM program, reliable parts inventory, and timely troubleshooting.

Scope:
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager. Responsible for entire maintenance operation on all shifts. Operation includes parts inventory, PM’s, repair maintenance and equipment improvements. Along with equipment maintenance, this position is responsible maintaining facility maintenance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Measure and report the effectiveness of maintenance activities and team member performance
• Utilize CMMS to manage parts and PM program
• Communicate job expectations and coach team members
• Determine staffing levels and assign workload
• Excellent mechanical and electrical skills in project development as well as troubleshooting repairs
• Coordinates the Installation of new production machinery.
• Follows all personal and food safety requirements, especially those with respect to SQF guidelines.
• Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project maintenance status
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
• Execute capital as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Minimum of a High School education
• Five years of industrial maintenance leadership experience
• Three years food manufacturing experience
• Two years of working with CMMS
• Two years executing capital projects
• Familiar with SQF, FDA, and OSHA requirements

Preferred Skills:

• Engineering degree
• AIB certification
• PLC programming experience
• AutoCAD experience

Works indoors and outdoors and has exposure to all weather conditions, and may be exposed to chemicals, fumes, odors, dust and poor ventilation. Work environment conditions may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, side shields, hearing protectors and hair nets.
