As a Logistics Management Trainee, you will participate in a 4-week PAID training course packed with industry-specific educational content delivered through instructor-led training, situational simulations, web-based training, and a highly interactive hands-on Mentorship program. Each Logistics Management Trainee is provided a solid foundation to succeed in the hyper-growth industry of Transportation & Supply Chain Logistics!

Upon completion of the program, you will graduate to a Logistics Management Executive and be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining carrier relationships
• Offering custom, sometimes out-of-the-box transportation solutions that exceed our customers’ needs
• Delivering outstanding service
• Working within a team to ensure our loads and carriers are tracking accurately and safely
• Reporting to one of our Division Managers (who most likely started out as a Logistics Management Trainee themselves)

AND:

• Having the opportunity to enroll in additional Management Training courses and other industry-specific extended study programs as your career progresses

Compensation
Competitive base salary of $36,000 DOE plus uncapped commission. On average, our Logistics Management Executives earn $85,000 - $125,000 in total compensation in their first 12 months of employment after training. Relocation reimbursements to Reno, NV are currently being offered.

Education/Experience Requirements

Industry experience is not required! Our ideal candidate will have a strong competitive spirit and be accustomed to working in a very fast-paced environment. We’re looking for that special candidate who is assertive, team oriented and is motivated by monetary success and professional growth and recognition! Additional attributes we seek include:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
• 1-2 years professional experience preferred

Located in Northern Nevada, ITS Logistics is based at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range, with scenic Lake Tahoe less than an hour away. The Truckee Meadows enjoys four full seasons, and you’ll find skiing, hiking, climbing, boating, camping, golfing, fishing, biking and other outdoor activities right in your backyard.

This historic area is diverse in art and cultural attractions such as the Nevada Museum of Art and the National Automobile Museum. It’s also known for its annual special events including the Reno Rodeo, Hot August Nights, Burning Man, the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off, the Great Reno Balloon Races, the National Championship Air Races and many, many others.
