Join Fish’s Austin office, in our fast-paced Legal Talent Department as a Legal Recruiter. Candidates who are local to Dallas or Houston will also be considered for this position.
How Will You Make a Difference?
- Regional coordination of lateral and entry-level hiring for five of Fish & Richardson’s US offices.
- Review resumes, work with search firms and the office’s attorneys to fill needs, schedule interview, coordinate offers and acceptance, and communicate with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
- Work on special projects which have a significant impact on firm-wide recruiting initiatives.
- Manage the overall summer associate program for certain offices, including planning events, overseeing the office summer budget, and summer associate work assignments and evaluations.
- Coordinate attorney presentations on-campus at graduate schools and through student organizations; attend careers fairs as applicable.
What Will You Bring to the Table?
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills, the ability to work independently, and place a high value on attention to detail.
- Success building partnerships, credibility, and trust with stakeholders at all levels of the firm.
- Understanding the commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion throughout the firm’s recruiting programs.
