Position Title: Field Assistant
Location: Casa Grande, AZ
Job type: Part Time Temporary
Arizona Plant Breeders Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual with the ability to work as a member of the research team located in Casa Grande, AZ.
Essentials duties and responsibilities:
The Field Assistant is responsible for supporting and assisting in all the day to day operations of Arizona Plant Breeders. This includes the following activities:
- Processing of all harvested material (cleaning, threshing, and testing the seed quality in the lab)
- Preparing and packaging seed
- Other related duties as assigned
- Candidate must be a motivated, self-starting individual
Education & work experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good interpersonal skills, effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Detail oriented
Additional information:
- Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the US
- Full training will be provided to the right candidate
- Work period: 3 months

Pay: $17.00 per hour
