K-5 Tutor - Local travel Job at Keep It Up Tutoring
Reading and math tutors wanted for K-5 students. You will work with students in-person, typically in their homes.
Spring semester will begin in January.
Tutors will meet with students for 30 minutes, 2 times a week. Typical hours will be after school (4 pm-7 pm Mon-Thur), however, you are free to set your own schedule with families.
Travel areas include Ham Lake, Andover, Blaine, and East Bethel.
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education
- Teaching license (or retired)
- Understanding and experience with Structured Literacy (if tutoring reading)
- At least two years of experience working with children as a teacher or tutor (work with students who have learning challenges preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to commit to at least one semester working with the same students at set times/days
- Working, reliable vehicle
- Clear background check
