We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team.
This is a Hybrid role based out of our Brooklyn, NY location.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist users with technical issues with computing equipment and network infrastructure
- Provide onboarding and offboarding support, to include provisioning and deprovisioning of accounts across on-premises and cloud infrastructure
- Create, update, and maintain documentation, policies, procedures, and checklist for use within the team and end users
- Perform the deployment, secure configuration, maintenance, and management of our computing equipment and infrastructure
- Conduct diagnosis and troubleshooting to determine root cause and resolve any related problems
- Provide recommendations and best practices for the optimal use and for securing our services, networks, and systems
- Help instruct on how to best use the different equipment, systems, and tools to meet business objectives
- Focus on attending requests in our ticketing system, prioritizing service requests based on department and production objectives
- Be the primary point of contact for personnel with any IT question or request
- Assist in project planning, implementations, and troubleshooting
- Work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently
What You'll Need:
- Two (2) to five (5) years in a related field, preferably in Pharmacy/Healthcare industry with experience in supporting the information technology needs of a startup
- Have a strong technical background, the technical depth and breadth to support our diverse workforce and the information technology needs of our remote workforce and of those in our facilities
- Ability to document and communicate concisely and precisely in writing and orally
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong bias for action and ownership
- Ability to work cross functionally and delivery results
- Attitude that no project is too big or too small
- Comfort working in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Excellent technical and troubleshooting/problem solving skills
- Experience working with common ticketing systems used for service desk and information technology efforts
- Experience working with Google Workspace, AZURE AD, and O365 or the ability & willingness to learn the platform quickly
- Experience supporting users working with cloud IaaS platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud (GCP), and Azure
- Experience administering cloud SaaS platforms and supporting users in every business unit working with SaaS platforms
- Experience in troubleshooting and diagnostic activities to obtain the root cause of an issue, and in providing a solution that meets the business needs as well as our compliance obligations
- Experience with using, managing, troubleshooting hardware & software issues, and maintaining/managing laser and label printers, barcode scanners, portable handheld terminals and tablets
- Support recent versions of Windows and MacOS
- Familiarity with computer provisioning and remote configuration tools such as Microsoft SCCM, Autopilot, Intune, and Jamf
- Bonus* if you have experience with Automating tasks through scripting with Python, PowerShell, or similar languages
- Managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)/Two Factor Authentication (2FA), Single Sign On (SSO)
- Familiarity with industry standards and guidelines relevant to the role and our industry, such as ISO, ITIL, NIST, HIPAA, SOC1/SOC2/SOC3, PCI, HITRUST, Center for Internet Security (CIS), SANS
- Have obtained (or willing & able to obtain) professional certification(s) relevant to this role such as: CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, Cloud+, Apple Certified Macintosh Technician, Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) Certification, etc…
- Microsoft Certified Foundational level certifications and/or other relevant industry or vendor certifications
- The ability to articulate and demonstrate skills as well as supporting the business needs are as or more important than the certification
- Bachelor's degree, a combination of experience and/or Associate's degree, or an equivalent combination of equivalent education and work experience
- Note that all degrees must be from an accredited institution
Salary Range:
$65,000 per year to $75,000 per year
