HVAC installers are responsible for successfully installing HVAC equipment for Airforce Heating and Air. They are in charge of troubleshooting electrical circuits, pipes, and system components as needed. They replace air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration equipment as needed, as well as test connections for leakage and pressure problems. Among their main responsibilities are installing and connecting thermostats and humidstats using hand tools, as well as verifying correct functioning of residential and business equipment. They must document customer interactions and participate in training sessions to familiarize themselves with new devices and technology. Additionally, HVAC installers must provide excellent customer experiences and establish rapport with customers, as well as read equipment manuals to solve problems. HVAC Installer Tasks

  • Repair and rebuild complex residential and commercial HVAC and environmental systems and inspecting regularly.
  • Keep all HVAC and mechanical rooms clean, orderly, and organized.
  • Calibrate thermostats and ensure appropriate temperatures are maintained.
  • Install residential and commercial HVAC systems in accordance with manufacturer compliance and company policy


HVAC Installer Requirements

  • Able to successfully pass a background check
  • Able to successfully pass a urine drug screen
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving history
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs
  • Ability to work in uncontrolled, unconditioned climates
