Nazdar inks are primarily used by printers in the Point of Purchase (POP), Banner, Container, Industrial, Metal, Nameplate- Membrane Switch, Roll Label, Sign, and Textile decorating markets.

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Nazdar is actively seeking an Ink Jet Field Specialist for our Technical Services department. This person will be working within Northern New Jersey/ Tri-State Area of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.

ABOUT THE JOB
The primary function of the Ink Jet Field Specialist is to install, train and repair the graphic and textile ink jet equipment that Nazdar sells and supports. The secondary focus is to provide technical support to the end users of this equipment on the phone and through the computer. It is beneficial to have expertise in textile print applications, prepress color management, customer relations, on-line technical support, and equipment maintenance. This position works in technical service but also serves the sales group. The work for this position is primarily at end users’ facilities. Travel to these facilities will be by car or air and can be anywhere in the continental USA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performing job according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.
• Being flexible to take on new responsibilities as the business changes.
• Assisting with other duties as directed by supervisor.

HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED

• A minimum of ten years of experience in wide format or grand format Ink Jet printing is preferred.
• Experience in the printing of textiles by screen printing or other processes.
• Preferred experience with prepress and workflow software, and in the screen or narrow web flexography processes.
• Electronic troubleshooting skills, computer networking, reading diagrams, circuit analysis and tracing, and managing hot components.

Certifications/Licenses

• Current valid driver’s license subject to an annual Department of Motor Vehicles check conducted by the Company.
• Printer certification on EFI, Roland, Epson, wide format equipment is desired for this position.
• RIP software certification in Fiery, Versaworks, required, other RIP software certifications are beneficial (Caldera, Onyx, Wasatch, ColorGATE).
• Any electrical maintenance or service certification
• It is beneficial to be proficient with these prepress art software products: Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, Acrobat.
• IDEAlliance G7 Expert certification is desired for this position.
