Description:A flexible part-time (maximum 25 hours per week) Human Resources Generalist is needed in our Norwood office to perform a wide range of duties for multi-site locations. This position is responsible for the day-to-day HR and benefits and is the main contact for employees at this location. The position helps support the HR team in the administration, processing, and maintenance of benefits systems, payroll processing, or HR-related initiatives.
Human Resources Generalist duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the hiring/recruitment process using an Applicant Tracking System
- Coordinate and process new hire documents.
- Ensure timely processing of HR-related transactions into HRIS.
- Maintain HR-related files including employee, benefit, and payroll files
- Monitor HR records to ensure compliance with legal, tax, and company requirements
- Assist employees with benefit questions and changes
- Ensure time-sensitive information is entered into the payroll system for the correct processing period
- Act as a backup for payroll processing
- Respond to employee pay inquiries in a timely matter
Human Resources Generalist Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain the confidential nature of human resource work and information
- Tactfulness when communicating with staff
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Possesses extreme attention to detail
- Capability to multitask and handle matters of urgency
- Experience with Paylocity payroll system is a plus
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- MS Office Experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)
