Summary:

American Family Group People Services is seeking candidates for a Business Analyst to support end users of Workday HRIS and SABA (Cornerstone) Learning Management System. Currently, the team handles a large volume of requests from end users related to troubleshooting, data/reporting or other administrative tasks. In addition to the request volume, this team will be exploring system changes, process changes, and end-user education to enable self-service and reduce the number of requests. This team works closely with the Tech team and the Analytics team to provide People Services products to all companies within the American Family Group.


Job Description:

Primary Accountabilities

  • May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives
  • Works on a team for which responsibilities will grow, problems and solutions will become more complex as the team develops over the next few years.
  • Understands customer needs and suggests improvements to Workday and SABA processes to enable self service and improve end user experience
  • Conducts administrative tasks such as auditing, maintenance and back of house operations in Workday and SABA
  • Educates end users to enable them to self-serve
  • Will work directly with end users in all parts of the business, and frequently within People Services
  • Understands Workday and SABA reporting and creates and edits simple to moderately complex reports.
  • Troubleshoots system issues in Workday HRIS and SABA (Cornerstone) learning management system

Travel Requirements

  • This position requires travel up to 10% of the time.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques or statistical analysis
  • Demonstrated strong experience utilizing data tools to build complex formulas and create reports
  • Understanding of software tools to query and report data
  • Knowledge of a variety of standard reporting software packages and best practices for report deployment processes
  • Demonstrated experience developing data sets

Additional Job Information:

  • Ability to work with project team members at all levels
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to research and educate oneself on the software and processes they will support
  • Proven HR systems knowledge and experience is required, preferably implementing or managing Workday HCM

This position is a hybrid role that involves working a minimum of 10 days per month in the office.
