The Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach/Oceanfront is adding to their amazing team! Seeking energetic Housekeeping Supervisor with great attitude and keen eye for cleanliness and details. This candiate is on track to move into a mangement role!

This position is a full time position - must have open avaiability and weekends are a must! Must be Bi-Lingual: English/Spanish

PRIOR HOTEL HOUSEKEEPING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Oversee a diverse team of Housekeepers by leading by example, empowering, sharing, and coaching.
• Inspects the work of a team of Room Attendants and House Attendants responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of all areas of the hotel.
• Schedules work to be done daily, collects room and floor status sheets for assigned work areas.
• Monitors each Room Attendant’s daily progress. Inspects completed rooms to assure that all standards have been met. When standards have been missed, brings employee back to room to correct the deficiency.
• Coordinates work orders in assigned section. Follows up to be sure work is completed.
• Ensure all guest and service areas are cleaned in a timely manner.
• Manage guests' special requests for an exceptional guest experience.
• Keep a pulse on supplies and expenses in order to meet or exceed budget goals.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns, attending to guest need with prompt courtesy.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of hotel housekeeping expected. Supervisory skills are required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, management, and guests.
