HOME STAGER - DESIGNER

The ideal candidate has a background in interior design, home staging for resale, good people skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment with a diverse team of designers, crew members, staff, and high-end clients and vendors. This is a full-time exempt position (40 hours per week) with benefits after 90 days of continuous employment.

We are interviewing now, for a start date of January 2, 2023.

Primary Responsibilities:

Accountable for all aspects of the staging process from overall design concept to implementation.

Use design sensibilities daily to develop staging design concepts for properties of all sizes and layouts.

Manage and oversee the picking of selected products from an extensive inventory of furnishings for various design concepts. And then, determine what needs to be purchased or rented, and then coordinate the purchase or rental.

Work independently with limited direction and take initiative. AND lead your team – manage Assistant(s) and crew members in the placement of furnishings/products in each staged residence to achieve the overall desired design concept.

Represent our luxury brand with a polished presence and professional demeanor.

Skills & Requirements:

One year of hands-on experience in design for resale staging is preferred

Superb conceptual thinker with a good eye for aesthetics, color, and detail

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time-management abilities, impeccable verbal and written communications skills, and a proven track record of great project management follow-through

Flexible and willing to take on various tasks, but also able to quickly shift direction as required by each project

Must be able to lift heavy goods and materials up to 50 lbs., sometimes daily

Must have reliable transportation for daily use, a valid driver's license, with proof of insurance and a clean driving recor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
