Health Engagement Well-Being Coordinator Job at Cigna
Role Summary
The Onsite Well-Being Coordinator will work closely with the Cigna Account Management Team and Customer’s Health and Wellness team in executing the organization’s health management goals. The primary focus of the Onsite Well-Being Coordinator is health promotion.
In collaboration, with the Cigna account team, the Onsite Well-Being Coordinator executes the appropriate delivery and coordination of wellness programs including event scheduling and appointment coordination, community and vendor programs, and monitors effectiveness of the programs. The focus of the Onsite Well-Being Coordinator is the working well population of employees in aggregate. A core objective of this position is to facilitate wellness programs that educate and influence employees at the worksite to lead healthy lifestyles.
This position must reside in the Los Angeles area and be in a commutable distance. This role is currently work from home but will be responsible for going into the client's offices for wellness and other engagement events/initiatives.
General Responsibilities
Collaborate with Employer on Development of Wellness Committee
Collaborate with the employer in formation and facilitation of a wellness committee if one has not already been established and include different levels of employer leadership and employees from the worksite
Ongoing collaboration and facilitation of employer wellness committee
Review the proposed health promotion strategy with the wellness committee, partnering with the Cigna lead for health and wellness as appropriate
Collaborate in development and delivery of promotion campaign
Newsletters, posters, email, raffles, reminders, etc.
Overall promotion development and deployment
Health Awareness Seminars
End-to-end coordination of health awareness seminars
Deliver single or multi-session workshops on a group basis (lunch and learn)
Develop or pull from defined list of wellness topics; may be tailored to population, season, etc.
Education for various health related topics (nutrition/healthy eating, physical activity, etc.)
Wellness Campaigns
Facilitate health related group activities among population over a defined time period (10K Steps, Resolution Revolution)
Focus of campaign is to initiate behavior change and health improvement
Wellness Event/Fair
Assist employer HR/Management in coordination of event/fair (member of employer led planning committee)
Guest speakers, health assessment, open enrollment, family wellness event, annual biometric event, etc.
Wellness Resources
Manage wellness bulletin board and electronic media board.
Share health and wellness related educational materials.

CHES preferred
Bachelor’s degree in health education, health promotion, or related field preferred
Experience with direct member communication (written and verbal)
Experience in health education and wellness coaching preferred
Experience conducting educational groups preferred
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 56,600 - 94,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location
