Job Description and Duties

The Employment Development Department's Disability Insurance (DI) Branch is searching for 2 enthusiastic, skilled, motivated and inspirational leaders to manage the Fraud Prevention and Detection Units. If you take initiative, exercise good judgment, have the ability to create an inclusive environment, and lead a team to creatively use a variety of analytical techniques to produce high-quality deliverables, this is the job for you.

Under general direction of the Fraud Prevention and Detection Section Manager the employee manages and provides leadership for the Fraud Prevention and Detection Unit (FPDU), including planning, facilitating, and coordinating unit activities. The employee supervises staff who are responsible for development, coordination and implementation of program policy; development and analysis of program legislation; development and analysis of regulatory proposals; implementation of new legislation; and special studies, projects and assignments.
