About Biewer : We are a family of businesses that operate 8 lumber manufacturing and building products distribution companies throughout the Midwest that include sawmills, treating plants and distribution operations. Summary: The main purpose of the Forklift Driver is to operate a powered industrial truck to load and unload materials and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading areas.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and rail cars.
- Stack items safely in correct storage bays.
- Locate and move stock of products.
- Identify product damages.
- Work in other departments as needed.
- Responsibly follow all safety procedures and policies, work together with co-workers to ensure a safe workplace environment and culture.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating 6,000-8,000 lb. forklift required.
- Hydro-static forklift experience preferred.
- General Lumber and/or Building Materials knowledge preferred.
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outside, year-round.
- Reading, writing, and math competency demonstrated by high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: From $17.25 per hour
