Growing digital marketing/SEO Reseller company is looking to add a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to their team. This person can work remote, preference would be someone living on the east coast.

This position works directly with the CFO and Executive team, while also supporting the Finance department. Responsible for updating and maintaining financial models, generating reports, and assisting with creation of Powerpoint presentations that are strategic to the business and influence executive decision-making covering topics such as variance analysis on general ledger accounts, cash planning giving detailed explanations on differences to budget, and M&A due diligence. Prepare key data for weekly financial reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reporting packages on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
  • Perform financial analysis and modeling of current and historical trends and KPI's including all areas of Sales, Cost of Sales, Contribution Margin and SG&A Expense.
  • Build/manage complex financial models that provide insight into strategic initiatives to be taken by Management
  • Lead pricing initiatives to capture true cost of inventory, external link building and third party content writing and ensure positive margin at all levels by reseller and end-client

· Maintain prior week actual results in weekly cash forecast

  • Participate in planning process including revenue forecasting and cost/budgeting initiatives

· Assists the technology team in the implementation of systems that impact the general ledger and assists on other financial implementations as needed

· Heavy involvement in the acquisition due diligence process, including financial due diligence and review of legal documentation

· Performs other related duties or ad hoc analyses as assigned by Controller and or CFO

Knowledge & Skills:

· Requires a four-year College or University degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems

· Requires three to five years' experience in Financial Reporting/ Analysis or General Accounting within a Private Company or Public Accounting

· Requires working knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), along with a thorough understanding of accounting

· Requires strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and database reporting

· Strong written and oral communication needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Mergers & acquisitions: 3 years (Preferred)
  • financial planning & analysis: 7 years (Preferred)
  • working for a private equity backed company: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CPA (Preferred)
