The Financial Analyst, FP&A will provide necessary reporting and analytics on financial results and operational metrics, Denovo performance versus proforma, and other key quality measures & KPIs across all businesses. This role will use financial acumen to support decision making to drive results in a rapidly evolving environment and develop/maintain reports & analyses that deepen understanding of the business to help facilitate data-driven decision making. The position will have regular interaction with executives and various departments across USRC and will convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner so leaders can understand and react. The position will also be heavily involved in the annual budgeting process & other forecast requests and aid in automating reporting, analytics, and other processes. This position can either be remote or on-site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Operations Finance Team with reporting/analytics e.g., Treatment Volume & Expense Variance Analysis, Denovo performance, Labor Analysis (Productivity, Cost per Treatment, etc.), JV performance, and other key KPIs
  • Support Operations Finance leaders (SVP, VPs, Director) with financial reporting and analytics on divisions/regions chronic dialysis facilities, Acute programs, Pharmacy and other key areas as needed
  • Support CFO & other leaders with additional ad hoc analysis/requests to help better understand business performance, industry trends, and competitive landscape
  • Support Ops Finance leaders with performing projection modeling to forecast future business performance & other analytical needs for JV and other miscellaneous meetings
  • Assist in annual budget process through helping build the bottoms-up facility level budgets
  • Assist with automation & preparation efforts as it relates to Denovo Reporting, Monthly Operating Results Presentations across all business lines and leadership levels, budgeting, forecasting, etc.
  • Ensure Integrity of Financial Reporting in implementation and maintenance of reporting in Report Manager, SQL, Tableau and Planful
  • Become a go-to resource for our financial budgeting/reporting software Planful
  • Act as a liaison between Ops Finance and Accounting ensuring the team understands how adjustments/process/etc. impact financial results
  • Work with Business Development & Operations teams to support their data-driven decision-making process

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, decision sciences, or another analytical discipline strongly preferred.
  • 2 years finance experience for a multi-location healthcare company preferred; other relevant experience will be considered; previous dialysis experience a strong plus, but not necessary.
  • Advanced analytical skills required, Excel mastery.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles & financial statements
  • Tableau, Planful or other Business Intelligence & Data Visualization software experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
  • Experience in optimizing financial reports to improve transparency and highlight variances.
  • Demonstrated ability to dive deep on ambiguous challenges and deliver actionable insight.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical experience, delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills are required.
