We are currently accepting resumes for Experienced Fanuc & Yaskawa Robot Programming Technicians to join our Integration Team. Two years of work experience with either Fanuc or Yaskawa programing is required to be considered for this role. Robotic MIG or resistance welding experience is preferred.

In this role you will be programing resistance and MIG welding robots “from crate to production”. Robot programing and weld quality fall under the umbrella of this individual’s responsibility. The successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to create new programs on either Fanuc or Yaskawa robots, with focus on having the pendant in hand and at the process. This will include I/O setup, safety setup DCS & FSU, welding parameters and motion paths.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Robot programming & I/O structure of Fanuc or Yaskawa robots
• Resistance and Mig welding equipment set up and calibration
• Collaboration with the Simulation and Controls team in system bring up activities.
• Path and cycle time optimization
• Troubleshoot robot & weld related issues
• Troubleshoot electrical & mechanical systems
• Weld & Dimensional quality verification
• Aid in the work cell assembly and build process
• Use hand and power tools

Qualifications and Skills:

• Required 2 years experience programing Fanuc or Yaskawa robots in an integration or equipment bring up new production setting.
• Preferred Associate degree or completion of a tech high school program
• Highly mechanically inclined including fabrication practices & tooling adjustments
• Strong robot troubleshooting skill in both electrical components and program related issues
