About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our estate planning department in our Santa Rosa office. We offer a competitive starting salary commensurate with experience, a bonus program, and a comprehensive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $117,000 to $150,000, depending on experience.
About the Candidate:
· Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California
· Skillful analysis and synthesis of diverse subject matter
· Superior drafting, writing, research, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
· Strong work ethic that thrives in both independent and highly collaborative, fast-paced environments
· Experience with Federal and California state tax law
· Recent experience working with clients: designing and drafting irrevocable trusts, intentionally defective grantor trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, charitable split-interest trusts, and grantor retained annuity trusts
· Recent experience in complex trust administration and probate matters
· Knowledge of and experience with generation-skipping transfer tax planning
· Knowledge of and experience with fiduciary income tax issues
· Demonstrated success in helping to build and manage client relationships and deliverables

Pay: $117,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
